About Jan Surrey

Jan Surrey is a dhamma teacher, author and psychotherapist. In 2015, she was authorized as an Insight Dialogue teacher by Gregory Kramer and the Insight Dialogue Community teacher’s council. She now serves on the teacher’s council, devoting herself to training new peer leaders, facilitators, teachers and retreat teachers in the Insight Dialogue tradition. Full bio.

About Annie Hoffman

Annie Hoffman invited the Boston group to meet at her own Art & Soul (Now Pause) yoga studio, located in Inman Square, and the group has been meeting there ever since. Annie continues to co-facilitate the group in mindful movement. Full bio.

Beginnings

In 2008, a student of Gregory Kramer, Janet Surrey, began offering Insight Dialogue practice in Cambridge, Mass.
Annie Hoffman invited the group to meet at her Art & Soul Yoga studio, located at 91 Hampshire Street, just outside Inman Square. The group has been gathering there … until we elected to temporarily gather virtually, using Zoom, during the pandemic.
